Well, hey there lovely people! Has it been a long time...there's been a lot going on since my last post in September. A lot I'd love to share, but today we're here to celebrate the amazing, sincere, and talented Kelly Jean with a birthday mini album blog hop!

Now, for those of you that know or follow Kelly's blog, you know she absolutely LOVES mini albums! This couldn't be a better way to celebrate her birthday than the below lovely ladies participating in a birthday blog hop.

You should have arrived here from Mandi's blog. Today, I am sharing a mini album I completed earlier last year all about a girl's night out.

Girls Night Out 13
I remember having so much fun making this album. As I was taking photos of this mini album, I remembered how much I really loved putting this together with all the pretty paper and layers and embellies!

Girls Night Out 2

Once upon a time, when I used to subscribe to the Studio Calico scrapbooking kits, they used to stack up in my craft room. However, I distinctly remember using a kit (gasp, I know!) to make this mini album. It was hard to use this particular kit because the colors weren't really my style.

But the more I started cutting paper and layering all that goodness up, I was actually using items from the kit! It was wonderful! And I know you know what I'm talking about-we subscribe to these kits because we absolutely need them, but then they start to pile up. But, boy, does it feel good to use a kit.

Girls Night Out 4

I used mostly this Studio Calico kit, but I sprinkled in some Project Life cards, tags (because I'm obsessed), and a few embellishments from my stash.

Girls Night Out 6

I hope you enjoyed a peek inside my mini album and were inspired to use some of those kits you have stacked in the corner! Next up is the crazy talented Kristin! Make sure you go through the whole hop because some of these girls may be doing giveaways! Also, don't forget to wish Kelly Jean the happiest of birthdays yet!

xoxo,
Heather
